Share & import Tutors

Share import codes, add co-teachers, and publish to Tutor Hub.

Last updated Sep 6, 2026

Sharing lets colleagues reuse your tutor setup without starting from scratch. You can share privately via import codes, collaborate with co-teachers, or publish to the wider community through Tutor Hub.

Share & import (codes)

Open your Tutor → Share & import. You can generate three kinds of
8-character code:

CodeUse for
Import codeA colleague imports a copy into their account
Join codeStudents or co-teachers join this same tutor (not a copy)
Export codeSame idea as import — duplicate this tutor

Paste any of these in New tutor → Import/Join. Zense AI detects which kind
it is.

Teachers List (same school)

Co-teachers let colleagues at your school view or help manage a tutor without importing their own copy.

Add teachers from your school as View only or Editor:

  • View only — see settings and students.
  • Editor — manage the tutor alongside the owner.

Import or join a shared Tutor

New tutor → Import/Join accepts either an import code (you get your own
copy) or a join code (you join the original tutor). Changes to an imported
copy never affect the publisher.

If the tutor is linked to a Classroom, roster and co-teachers are managed in
the classroom Member tab — not here.

Publish to Tutor Hub

Publishing to Tutor Hub makes your tutor discoverable by educators across the Zense AI community.

Share your tutor with the wider Zense AI community:

  1. Open Publish Your Tutor to the Zense AI Tutor Hub from your tutor
    settings.
  2. Submit for approval if required.
  3. Optionally bundle the knowledge base.
  4. Once live, others import from Tutor Hub — see Tutor Hub.

Import creates your own copy. Join uses the original tutor. See
Create your first Tutor for the Import/Join box.
