Dashboard & announcements

The Dashboard tab is the home screen for each classroom. Teachers post
announcements; everyone sees an activity feed and can comment on posts.

Post an announcement (teachers)

1. Open your classroom → Dashboard.
2. Click New announcement.
3. Enter a title and body.
4. If Google Classroom sync is linked, optionally check Also post to Google
   Classroom.
5. Click Publish.

Announcements appear at the top of the dashboard. Students and teachers can
comment on each announcement in a thread below it.

Activity feed

Below announcements, the activity feed shows recent classroom events — new
members, linked resources, posts, and more. Use pagination to browse older
activity.

Preview as student (teachers)

Teachers can use Preview as student from the classroom header to see the
classroom exactly as students see it — useful before sharing announcements or
checking linked resources. Click Exit preview to return to teacher view.

Import code (teachers)

The Dashboard also shows an Import code (separate from the student join
code). Generate it so another teacher can paste it in Join/Import and get
their own copy of this classroom — tutors, assignments, and apps are cloned;
tools are re-linked; the roster is not.
