What is Live Class?
Run a structured in-class session with tasks, live student monitoring, and AI-assisted reviewing — tied to a Classroom and Tutor.
Last updated Sep 6, 2026
Live Class is a teacher-led session for a Classroom linked to a Tutor.
You define tasks (learning goals — questions, media, and optional submit
boxes), go live during class, and monitor every student's progress in real
time — with pull-invite, mute, smart groups, and AI reviewing.
Live Class is the classroom-scoped experience with its own page, tasks,
Evaluation (session insights + reports), and Interactive Threads. Mute
and frequency limits also appear as tutor control settings during the session.
Joining a live class does not lock the tutor. Students can still open the
tutor and start a new chat — only pause access (a teacher control) blocks
messaging.

Use Manage members & Live Class in the Tutors collection for roster and
Thread controls. Use Live Class when you want task-based monitoring across the
whole classroom. See Evaluate a Live Class for session reports.
