School management (admins)
Manage your school's users, credits, safety, and access from the School Management console.
Last updated Sep 6, 2026
School Management is for school administrators. On desktop, open it from
the school block in your profile menu. On mobile, use More → School
Management.
The School Management console is where admins configure policies, manage users, monitor usage, and handle safety — teachers apply these settings day to day through their own tools.

Profile & join codes
Profile holds school identity and access codes (there is no separate General
page — /general redirects here).
Schools have separate 8-character codes for teachers and students. Share the
right code so users join with the correct role and credit pool.
Users
- Teachers — roster, chat caps, image/video studio caps, roles.
- Students — roster at Users → Students; invite, remove, inline credit
edits. Bulk import and the bulk modify wizard (edit many students at
once) are on the students page. Master admins can remove (kick) members
from the school. Kicked members keep a Free individual account; they lose
this school's classrooms, classroom-linked tutors, and assignments. Only a
master admin can enable Sync Mode on bulk import (remove students
missing from the file).
See School credits: users, top-up & assign in Pricing & Credits for the full
studio assignment workflow.
Usage & billing
- Usage — teacher/student chat pools, image & video bonus pools, assignment
bars, and studio pack top-ups. - Billing — school subscription and payment history.
Apps moderation
Review apps submitted to your school gallery and the public gallery.
Approve, take down, or reject requests. Use Auto-publish apps to choose
whether school-gallery publishes go live immediately or wait as Pending.
Public gallery submissions always need admin review.
See School Apps moderation in the Apps collection.
Classrooms gallery
Classrooms (/school-management/classrooms) is the same workflow for
published classroom templates:
- Toggle Auto-publish classrooms — when on, teacher school-gallery publishes
go live instantly; when off, they wait as Pending. - Filter Published / Pending, search by name or creator.
- Approve, Take down, or Reject a submission.
Public classroom publishes still need review. Importers get a copy of the
classroom — never the original roster. See Publish, duplicate & import a
classroom.
Student access
Set a 6-digit parent PIN and optional daily time window. Outside allowed
hours, students must enter the PIN to continue using Zense AI.
Moderation & top users
- Moderation — review messages flagged by safety systems; filter by category;
open the student's conversation. - Top users — rankings by credits, messages, tokens, and streaks; export CSV.
Models
Models (/school-management/models) controls which AI models your school
can use and who can access them:
- Set each model's access to All, Teachers only, Students only, or
Nobody (hidden). - Add school-hosted LLMs (local or custom endpoints) for your organisation.
- Search and filter the model list by provider.
The old LLM URL redirects to Models.
Tags
School-wide tags for organizing tutors in the Tutors directory.
Teachers without admin access still use Students to monitor their classes.
Admins configure policies here; teachers apply them day to day.
For credit pools, model rates, and the Users → Top-up → Assign workflow, see
School credits: users, top-up & assign in Pricing & Credits.
