School Apps moderation
Review and approve apps submitted to the public gallery — and control whether students can publish publicly.
Last updated Sep 6, 2026
School admins manage app publishing from School Management → Apps.
What admins review
When a teacher or student clicks Publish → Public gallery, the app enters
Pending approval. Admins see:
- App name, creator, subject, and grade tags
- Link to preview the deployed app
- Publish status filter: Published or Pending
Approve to make the app visible in the Public Apps tab for all Zense AI users.
Reject or unpublish to remove it from the gallery.
School gallery vs public gallery
| Gallery | Approval |
|---|---|
| My school | Instant when Auto-publish apps is on; otherwise Pending until an admin approves |
| Public | Always requires admin approval at your school |
Turn Auto-publish apps on or off under School Management → Apps. When it
is on, teacher apps go live in the school gallery immediately. When it is off,
new school submissions wait as pending.
School-published apps appear under Apps → My School for everyone in the
organisation once they are live.
Settings
School Management → Apps may include toggles for whether students can submit
public publish requests — check your school's policy configuration on this page.
