All of our courses are powered by Zense AI, allowing students to ask specific questions about topics and enabling teachers to monitor student understanding. The Education Bureau has recently launched the AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding Programme, injecting AI elements as the core driving force for schools' digital transformation in education, empowering education through technology. Applications are now open to all public and direct-subsidy primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, aiming to promote digital learning and leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness. In response to the Education Bureau's policy, we have launched the Smart Creation Future Courses, providing comprehensive AI education solutions for schools.
Image Recognition and Face Recognition
- Trial image classification, object detection, and face recognition models
- Discuss applications and information literacy (privacy, bias)
Deploy Local LLM
- Deploy a simplified local LLM on VisionFive 2 Lite, perform simple conversations and commands
- Compare privacy and performance trade-offs between cloud vs local LLMs
Sound and Speech AI
- Trial speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and keyword detection
- Create a simple voice assistant demo
Self-Learning with Common Generative AI Tools
- Introduce text, image, and video generation tools
- Teach effective prompt writing techniques
- Arrange self-study tasks: choose one tool to complete a small project

AI for Science Education Funding Programme
Through the AI for Science Education Funding Programme, the Zense AI team co-planned lessons with us and supported classroom implementation. We integrated the AI Tutor function into our lessons, creating AI tutors tailored to learning goals, lab contexts, and common misconceptions, and assigned them to students. During lessons, students connect observed phenomena to underlying principles, organize evidence, and refine explanations, helping them construct scientific knowledge and making AI a natural part of the science lab.

With a flipped-classroom approach, students preview and ask questions before class; during lab work, they connect observations to underlying principles, organize evidence, and refine explanations—strengthening knowledge construction and making AI feel like a natural part of the science lab.
